I saw a surgery –
Sat patiently awaiting an awakening
Hoped to help her
Her hurt was sure to hurt me
So I searched for anesthetic
Found a wick to spark her candle

left a little lick to tranquilize her pain

I still see her pain

most see her breasts…
but..

I saw her treasure chest
I was witness to this –
open heart procedure
To see her from inside-out.

I see her sleek jet-black locks
from inside the clouds.
From inside then out.

You see the outline
Which is now fine
as fine Ever was
But I see what you never
in ways you’ve never
Will never… See

of the outside:
outer lines, her face, her eyes- I see

inside- in time I see internal- eternally
