Allow me to briefly inform the world of an artist you –must grow familiar with.

At this point in time, on this April day and every day forward, it is necessary for eyes to move. Our current societal focus should henceforth delve towards the visual images of Jinger Rush.

Jinger Rush is a photographer, no…. this woman is -The Photographer.

She holds perfect communion with the skies, deer, the feathered, winged beauties aviation and she has a keen sense of timing that proves how intimate she is with the natural cycles of the world.

This brief write-up is of a lesser-known but highly skilled, entirely dedicated, creative-original.

Don’t just accept that you are witnessing artistic magnificence.

Research, follow through and sit in the stillness she has created. Find within the images that she shares an experience of framed aesthetic value.

It pains me to fail each time I dance with language. I fail disgustingly, in ways that otherwise may share this photographer with greater viewership. It pains me as I am aware that she so clearly, undeniably, dearly deserves eyes.

When her heels touch grounds outside of her home, be certain that she wears the term ‘visual creative artist’ and yes, she represents this title.

She wears every bit and grain of this title; it fits her perfectly.

She is …. an artist, Jinger Rush, the camera-woman behind, ahead of and within–

A true friend-becoming, Jinger is a woman who has lived through plenty and openly shares her past trials…. she thinks, speaks and shares with an openness of soul. She has humor, light and grace but more importantly she -gives…. without restraint.

Jinger is an obsessed camera-person, she is a technician who has the sensibilities of an artiste.

Is it possible that some time periods don’t fully acknowledge the artist? She is that painter, craftsperson, sure… but far greater than any title of such limitation, she is the physical creator of visual truth.

What lives in her tool kit is a wide array of techniques and she possesses a magic lens, one that has never been fully explained or understood. The pictures however, they labor for her incessantly, they do all the work -for her. The pictures speak loudly, they talk of her patience … to sit still in wait for the bald eagle, the wild osprey, the hawk soaring into the frame of her long lens.

Many styles, various backgrounds and subjects have been brought forth as she is captivating her audience. Generous in her presentation as a visual artist, she shares what we have never before gained access to.

If you love the lush green explosive character of the Oregon forests, wing-spread, soaring friends of the sky-lines, parades of land animals, rare birds and serene landscapes are her forte…. these pictures have all been captured by the open lensed wizard of OR. She has spotted birds that navigate the great periwinkle skies along the Northwest, seascapes that dazzle every screen they decorate. She has been in position, ready … and able to hold for the moments.

My words are but a weak attempt to dash forth & grab a sliver of this excellence she conveys.
